The Zoning Department is responsible for administering and enforcing the City’s zoning ordinance, architectural design guidelines, and floodplain regulations, including: reviewing building and development plans, subdivisions, issuing sign permits, issuing fencing permits, and providing information to contractors, residents, and others on code requirements.  The Zoning Department coordinates projects with the Planning Department, which includes the Building Official and City Engineer. The Zoning Administrator maintains the official City Zoning Map and Land Use Plan Maps. The Zoning Office also provides administrative support for the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Commission.

The current Zoning Calendar includes due dates and meeting schedules for zoning applications.
