Television & Monitor Recycling Last Friday of each Month

The City of Galena will be offering television and computer monitor recycling on the last Friday of every month beginning July 29. Collection will take place from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the City Hall parking lot, 101 Green Street. Cost for recycling is $15 per television or monitor. These items are NOT accepted at the city electronics recycling facility. 

Reminder: Used batteries and CFL bulbs are always accepted--at no charge--at City Hall. Small household electronics may be recycled at the former waste water treatment plant site, 114 Meeker Street, seven days per week.

Icy roads prevent garbage trucks from working collection routes.  Service to be delayed by one day for all routes the week of January 16.
