Bobby was born and raised in Galena on Red Gates Road and in 1973 he graduated from Galena High School. He married Dorris Wienen in 1974 and has two children, Jimmy and Garrett. He has been employed with Louie's Trenching since 1974. Bobby is involved with the Eagles Club and the Elks Club, having been Exalted Ruler of the Elks in 1984 and 1985.
