Galena Center for the Arts Tuba Christmas

The Galena Center for the Arts is seeking tuba and euphonium players of all ages to participate in a festive Tuba Christmas holiday concert at historic Turner Hall, 115 S. Bench St.

Rehearsal and performance will take place on the same day, with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m., rehearsal at 11 and performance at 2. Registration is not required but will assist in planning. Those who register in advance will receive a souvenir event button.

Musicians are encouraged to dress festively and decorate their instrument; there will be prizes for best decorated instrument, oldest and youngest player, and individual who traveled the farthest.

Musicians will also need to bring own music stand and copy of the Carols for a Merry Tuba Christmas music, link to order will be added to this webpage soon. Be sure to allow sufficient time for delivery.
