"Ride Galena" Shuttle
The City of Galena, in cooperation with Jo Daviess County Transit and Galena Country Tourism, offers a free round-trip shuttle to the downtown on weekends from June through October. The downtown stop is on Green Street next to the public restrooms. The two shuttle routes are described below.
From Public parking lots to Downtown Galena
From the Depot Park parking lot and the Meeker Street parking lot to the downtown.
Saturdays 11 am-10 pm and Sundays 11 am-4 pm. Loading approximately every 20 minutes. Please reference the Ride Galena Map for more route details.
From Hotels to Downtown Galena
Hotel Route stops at Ramada, Country Inn and Suites, Palace Campground, Stoney Creek Inn, Best Western, Irish Cottage, and Grant Hills.
Saturdays: 11 am-10 pm. Operating continuously. Please notify the front desk attendant at your lodging facility when you are waiting for the shuttle.
