Galena Police Department offers multiple specialty positions such as K9 Officer, Narcotics, Critical Incident Response Team, Major Case Investigations, Alice (Active Shooter) Instructors and many others. Galena Police Department officers utilize the newest technology with Axon Body Worn Cameras, state-of-the-art Axon interview rooms, and a Polaris Ranger.
Individuals with up to seven years of prior experience are eligible for wages starting at $30.72 per hour. Benefits include 100% single coverage health, dental, life and disability insurance.
