The City of Galena will host a retirement open house in honor of Mark Moran on Thursday, March 20 from 4-6 p.m. at Galena City Hall, 101 Green Street.
Moran, who served the city for 30 years, retired March 1. He began his career with the city in 1994 as zoning administrator and was appointed interim city administrator in 1996 by former Mayor Gary Bartell. Moran was appointed city administrator by former Mayor Dick Auman in 1997.
