The City of Galena is providing leased space to Verizon Wireless to install antennas and related equipment on the Dodge Street water tower. The project is expected to improve cellular service for Verizon customers in Galena and the surrounding area. Barring setbacks the antennas are expected to be operational near the end of June 2024.
