Roadways
Galena is located on the west end of U.S. 20 in Illinois. From Chicago, take I-90 west to Rockford and follow U.S. 20. From the south (such as Springfield or the Quad Cities), take Illinois 84 north along the Great River Road until it intersects U.S. 20 north of Hanover.
