Register your entry for Galena’s Fourth of July parade
The City of Galena’s Fourth of July parade will take place on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Main Street.
Entry forms for those wishing to enter a float, band, vehicle or walking group in the city-sponsored parade are available at cityofgalena.org or at Galena City Hall, 101 Green St. There is no fee to participate. Parade line-up begins at 4:30 p.m. on Commerce Street behind the DeSoto House.

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced recently that weather permitting, construction on the bridge carrying U.S. 20/Illinois 84 across the Galena River will begin Monday, May 4.
